Do students need previous musical experience?
No. We welcome complete beginners as well as intermediate and advanced students. Lessons and programs are designed around the student's current stage, age, goals, and experience.
How much do music lessons cost?
Private lessons start at $28 for a 30-minute lesson with a Junior Teacher and $38 with a Professional Teacher. Toddler Music is $30 per 30-minute class in a 10-week term, while Group Music Lessons for ages 3–6 are $20 per 30-minute class. Visit our Pricing page for full rates and program details.
What music programs are available for young children?
Toddler Music is designed especially for ages 2–3, with 30-minute classes and a maximum of three children per group. For ages 3–6, Group Music Lessons offer a more social learning experience through singing, rhythm, movement, listening, and musical activities.
What ages do you teach?
We offer musical learning for toddlers, children, teens, and adults. Toddler Music begins at age 2, Group Music Lessons are available for ages 3–6, and the appropriate starting age for private instrument lessons may vary based on the instrument, attention span, physical readiness, and the student's interest.
Are Royal Conservatory examinations required?
No. Students may learn recreationally, prepare for performances, pursue examinations, or combine several goals. Examinations are one available pathway rather than a requirement.
How do I know which teacher or program is the right fit?
Contact us with the student's age, experience, instrument interests, and goals. We can help you explore an appropriate teacher or program based on those needs.
What happens during a trial lesson?
For private lessons, a trial gives the student and teacher an opportunity to meet, discuss goals, explore the instrument, and determine whether the teaching approach feels like a good match. Contact us for current trial options for group programs.
