ABOUT LITTLE CHOPIN ACADEMY

Music Education Built Around Every Student

Little Chopin Academy is a Scarborough music school dedicated to helping students build confidence, creativity, and a lasting love of music. We provide personalized instruction for students of different ages, experience levels, and musical goals.

What began as a small teaching studio has grown into a community of experienced educators and young musicians, while keeping the same personal approach at the heart of every lesson.

From a Small Studio to a Growing Community

OUR STORY

Little Chopin Academy began in 2009, when founder Raymond Truong started teaching piano to just 5 students at his own home. What began as a small home and online studio grew steadily as more families discovered his personalized and encouraging approach to music education.

As the community grew, so did the vision. In 2023, Little Chopin Academy opened its first dedicated location at Finch and Victoria Park after acquiring Ware Academy of Music. Two years later, the academy acquired Unison Academy of Music and moved to its current home at Finch and Milliken.

Today, Little Chopin Academy is home to more than 300 students and 28 teachers, offering music education to children and adults across a wide range of instruments. Through every stage of that growth, the philosophy has remained the same: excellent musical training in a personal, supportive, and enjoyable environment.
